The objective of a Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC)at Sona Devi University is to address student grievances and complaints in a timely manner. The SGRC’s objectives include:

  1. Providing a platform: Giving students a way to voice their concerns about academic, personal, or administrative issues that impact their learning environment

  1. Ensuring anonymity: Allowing students to express their grievances anonymously and SDU will treat the complaint confidentially and sensibly.

  1. Resolving grievances quickly: Establishing a mechanism for the swift resolution of grievances.

  1. Providing counselling: Offering counselling to students as part of the grievance resolution process.

  1. Maintaining a harmonious environment: Working to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere.

  1. Educating students: Informing students of their rights and responsibilities under the policies.

  1. Identifying systemic issues: Identifying systemic flaws in the design and administration of various products and seeking solutions.

  1. Monitoring: Establishing a monitoring mechanism to oversee the functioning of the grievance redressal policy as per the UGC SGRC Guidelines.
