Dr. Saroj Kumar Mishra, Regional Director of IGNOU, Deoghar, delivered a special lecture today at Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, for Ph.D. researchers on research methodologies. While discussing research with the scholars, he emphasized that the research process begins with the selection of a research problem. He also provided information on sources for writing a literature review, stating that besides books, the internet can also be a valuable resource. Dr. Mishra guided the scholars on how to cite references and explained how to formulate a hypothesis.
He highlighted the importance of alignment between research objectives and hypotheses, stating that only when this alignment exists will the conclusions be valid, and the research will be credible and legitimate. Additionally, Dr. Mishra shared technical insights on research methodology, data collection, and analysis.
The lecture saw the participation of a large number of university research scholars. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Anusua Roy, who introduced and welcomed Dr. Mishra. Also present at the event were the Chancellor of the university, Mr. Prabhakar Singh; Vice-Chancellor, Dr. J.P. Mishra; Registrar, Prof. Dr. Gulab Singh ‘Azad’; Dr. Neelmani Kumar; Assistant Professor from the Department of Psychology, Mrs. Anusua Roy, Coordinator of the Ph.D. Cell; Assistant Professors Archana Singh, Monika Singh, Pooja Tiwari, Rahul Kumar Shaw, Kishore Kumar, and Madhavi Behra, along with numerous research scholars.
शोध के उद्देश्य और प्राकल्पना के बीच तारतम्यता आवश्यक – डॉ. सरोज कुमार मिश्र
इग्नू देवघर के क्षेत्रीय निदेशक, डॉ. सरोज कुमार मिश्र ने आज सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय, घाटशिला में पी एच.डी शोधार्थियों के लिए शोध प्रविधियों से सम्बंधित विशेष व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने रिसर्च स्कॉलरों को रिसर्च के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि शोध की शुरुआत शोध समस्या के चयन से होती है। उन्होंने शोध साहित्य समीक्षा लिखने के स्रोत की भी जानकारी दी। साथ ही कहा कि पुस्तकों के अलावे इंटरनेट से भी इसकी तलाश की जा सकती है। श्री मिश्र ने रिसर्च स्कॉलरों को सन्दर्भ लिखने का तरीका भी बताया। हाइपोथिसिस लिखने के बारे में भी बताया गया। डॉ. सरोज ने कहा कि शोध के उद्देश्य और प्राकल्पना के बीच तारतम्यता होगी तभी सही निष्कर्ष आएगा तथा शोध कार्य विश्वसनीय और वैध हो सकेगा। इन्होने रिसर्च मेथोडोलोजी, डाटा कलेक्शन और उसके विश्लेषण के बारे भी ध्यान रखने योग्य तकनिकी जानकारी दी।इस लेक्चर में विश्वविद्यालय के रिसर्च स्कॉलर बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित हुए। कार्यक्रम का संयोजन श्रीमती अनुसुआ रॉय द्वारा किया गया। उन्होंने डॉ.मिश्र का परिचय एवं स्वागत कराया। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति श्री प्रभाकर सिंह, कुलपति डॉ. जे.पी मिश्रा, कुलसचिव प्रो. डॉ. गुलाब सिंह ‘आज़ाद’, डॉ. नीलमणि कुमार,सहायक प्राध्यापक मनोविज्ञान विभाग, श्रीमती अनुसुआ रॉय, समन्वयक, पी एच.डी सेल, सहायक प्राध्यापक अर्चना सिंह, मोनिका सिंह, पूजा तिवारी, राहुल कुमार शॉ, किशोर कुमार, माधवी बेहरा समेत बड़ी संख्या में रिसर्च स्कॉलर उपस्थित थे
