On August 29, 2024, a “Lecture Series by Distinguished Personalities” was organized at Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, East Singhbhum. The speaker for today’s lecture series was Prof. (Dr.) Chandreshwar Khan, a renowned management guru from Jamshedpur, and the Kolhan region, and a former Senior Assistant General Manager at Tata Motors Limited, Jamshedpur. The theme of Prof. Khan’s lecture was “The Importance and Utility of Managerial Processes for Students and Faculty Members of Educational Institutions.”

The event saw the presence of Sona Devi University’s Chancellor, Mr. Prabhakar Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J.P. Mishra, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Gulab Singh ‘Azad’, Controller of Examinations, Mr. Mithilesh Singh, principals of various schools/departments, professors, assistant professors, and a large number of students. The lecture was introduced by Dr. Nit Naina, a professor in the Biotechnology department, who briefly introduced Prof. Khan.

In his highly inspiring and informative lecture, Prof. Khan explained the definition, importance, and relevance of management science to the students of Sona Devi University in a very engaging and practical manner, using examples. He emphasized the importance of setting goals in life, adopting the right processes, and efficiently utilizing resources. He advised students to acquire knowledge, gain experience, work courageously, manage time effectively, remain grateful to their seniors, and adopt the right perspective. He also stressed the need for students to maintain discipline and self-control, achieve proficiency in their mother tongue while mastering the English language, as only then can they bring recognition to themselves and to Sona Devi University, Ghatsila, East Singhbhum, on a global scale.

Prof. Khan further encouraged the students to keep moving forward in life by relying on hard work and the right perspective, as one’s perspective ultimately determines the heights one can reach in life. At the end of the program, the university’s Registrar, Prof. Dr. Gulab Singh ‘Azad’, highly praised the motivational speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Chandreshwar Khan. He urged the students to apply the managerial knowledge and experiences shared by Prof. Khan in every aspect of their lives, striving to become ideal citizens in every possible way.

आज दिनांक 29 अगस्त, 2024 को सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय, घाटशिला, पूर्वी सिंहभूम के प्रांगण में “विशिष्ट व्यक्तित्व के व्यक्तियों द्वारा व्याख्यान श्रंखला” का आयोजन किया गया। आज की व्याख्यान श्रंखला के वक्ता लोहनगरी, जमशेदपुर एवं कोल्हान क्षेत्र के जाने माने मैनेजमेंट गुरु प्रो.(डॉ.) चंद्रेश्वर खान, भूतपूर्व सीनियर असिस्टेंट जनरल मैनेजर, टेल्को, जमशेदपुर थे। प्रो. खान के व्याख्यान का थीम ‘ प्रबंधकीय प्रक्रियाओं का शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं के विद्यार्थियों एवं संकाय सदस्यों हेतु महत्व एवं उपयोगिता ‘ था। आज की व्याख्यानमाला में सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति श्री प्रभाकर सिंह, कुलपति प्रो. जे. पी. मिश्रा , कुलसचिव प्रो.(डॉ.) गुलाब सिंह ‘आज़ाद’ , परीक्षा नियंत्रक श्री मिथिलेश सिंह , विभिन्न स्कूलों/ विभागों के प्राचार्यगण , प्राध्यापकगण एवं सहायक अध्यापक तथा बहुत बड़ी संख्या में छात्र – छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे। बायोटेक्नोलॉजी विभाग की प्राध्यापक डॉ. नित नयना ने प्रो. खान का स्वागत करते हुए संक्षिप्त में उनका परिचय दिया। प्रो. खान ने अपने बहुत ही प्रेरणादायक एवं ज्ञानवर्धक भाषण में सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र – छात्राओं को प्रबंध विज्ञान की परिभाषा, उसके महत्व एवं औचित्यता को बहुत ही रोचक एवं व्यावहारिक शब्दों में उदारहण सहित समझाया। उन्होंने बताया की जीवन में लक्ष्य निर्धारित करना , सही प्रक्रिया को अपनाना तथा संसाधनों को चलायमान बनाना अति आवश्यक है और इसके लिए छात्र – छात्राओं को ज्ञानार्जन करना, अनुभव हासिल करना , साहस से काम लेना , समय का सही प्रबंध करना, वरिष्ठ लोगों के प्रति आभारी रहनातथा सही दृष्टिकोण अपनाना होगा, उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को स्वयं को अनुशासन एवं आत्म नियंत्रण में भी रहना होगा, उन्हें मातृ भाषा में पारंगतता प्राप्त करने के साथ-साथ अंग्रेजी भाषा पर भी मास्टरी प्राप्त करनी होगी तभी वे विश्व में स्वयं का तथा इस सोना देवी विश्वविद्यालय, घाटशिला, पूर्वी सिंहभूम का नाम रोशन कर सकते है। प्रो. खान ने कहा कि उन्हें जीवन में निरंतर आगे बढ़ना होगा और इसके लिए उन्हें कठिन परिश्रम एवं सही दृष्टिकोण का सहारा लेना होगा क्योंकि मनुष्य का सही दृष्टिकोण ही उसके जीवन में मिलने वाली ऊँचाइयों को निर्धारित करता है। कार्यक्रम के अंत में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव प्रो. डॉ. गुलाब सिंह ‘आज़ाद’ ने प्रो. डॉ. चंद्रेश्वर खान द्वारा दिए गए प्रेरणास्प्रद भाषण की भूरि – भूरि प्रशंसा की तथा उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से निवेदन किया कि वे प्रो. खान द्वारा बताए गए प्रबंधकीय ज्ञान का एवं उनके अनुभवों का जीवन के हर मुकाम पर उपयोग करते हुए स्वयं को एक आदर्श नागरिक बनाने की हर संभव कोशिश करेंगे।
