January 25th: In a significant milestone for Sona Devi University, students embarked on their inaugural industrial excursion, marking a pivotal moment in the institution’s academic journey.
This pioneering initiative saw students from various departments of the newly established Sona Devi University in Ghatsila partake in an educational tour of Surda Mines and Musabani Mines, operated by Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) in Moubhandar, Ghatsila, on Wednesday.
Accompanied by esteemed senior professors such as Pooja Tiwari, Kumari Shraddha Panda, Umesh Kumar Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Rajan Kumar, Anusua Rai, and Menka Singh, the students delved into a comprehensive exploration of the operational processes across different departments.
During the insightful industrial tour, students gained invaluable insights into various processing procedures, augmenting their understanding of forthcoming coursework.
